    • What?

    “Could you repeat that, please?” is polite and natural.

  2. Which is the most polite way to disagree?

    • ✓ I see your point, but I think we need more tests.
    • No way.
    • This is a bad idea.
    • You are wrong.

    Agree with part first, then add “but…” — it sounds respectful.

  3. I’m ___ I can’t finish it today.

    • ✓ afraid
    • fear
    • scared
    • sorry for

    “I’m afraid…” is a polite way to give bad news.
